We started out Pastured Pigs in mid-April. They were getting moved every 10-14 days until the last month, at which time they needed to be moved every 5-6 days. Our curly-tailed landscapers love their job! At right, the picture shows them five months and fifteen moves later.
Our goal is to grow the most nutrient-dense food that we are able, in cooperation with Nature. Our intent is to feed ourselves, our family, and eventually, additional members of our community. We are enthusiastic about what we do and are happy to share and discuss our methods and processes. We aren't doing much that many would consider "new", in fact much of how we're operating is consistent with how farming was done about 80+ years ago, but now with modern amenities and a bit of science added.
